A Message from Stallions President,
Gary Massey

1/15/2017

Stallions Family,

Happy New Year to all Stallions players, coaches and families!  I hope you had a relaxing and blessed holiday season.

We are extremely excited to see all of our teams begin their 2017 offseason training programs, especially as this marks our 25th season!  Stallions Baseball Club is the longest standing travel baseball organization in Northeast Ohio.  One of the main reasons we are still going strong, is our pursuit for continuous improvement.  Here is a list of a few of our enhancements for the 2017 season:

  1. New 70' cage - this allows live cage scrimmages which will provide a big advantage for all teams prepping for the season
  2. New strength station which will feature plyometric boxes, kettlebells and medicine balls
  3. New uniform and apparel vendor (Ryco Sports)
  4. Community Impact Award - multifaceted annual award that recognizes the team that made the most impact in the community

As an organization, we pride ourselves on not only our winning tradition, but also on how we develop our youth athletes and the way we represent ourselves as Stallions players, coaches, parents and fans.  A great resource to help us all achieve our mission is the Positive Coaching Alliance.  Please visit the below link for tremendous practical application resources for youth coaches, parents, and athletes.

Our #1 goal is to develop young men through the game of baseball.  In addition to player development and team success, our focus in 2017 is to lead the way in both sportsmanship and personal conduct.  While competing at the highest levels brings both intensity and emotion, I am confident that we will collectively demonstrate to our players and our competition how to both win and lose with respect - the Stallions Way.

Best of luck to all Stallions teams as you prepare for the 2017 season!  I look forward to seeing you all at the Luau on 3/11!
